To get texture from the start, begin by blow drying hair only using hands (no brushes or combs). Then, rub a dime-sized amount of the putty into your palms (a little goes a long way) and pat your fingertips together to emulsify and activate the fibers. Rake into dry or almost dry hair to distribute evenly. For longer styles or more sophisticated shaping, piece through from mid-length to ends for definition and added shine. Separate your bangs and layers by pulling sections towards your face. 6.For extreme twisting, distribute putty through damp or dry hair from roots to ends. Twist chunks of hair together, creating texture and lift.
