Epsom salt is made of magnesium sulphate, a natural mineral used for many years to increase the relaxing effects of a warm bath after strenuous exertion. This product is great for hot tubs and whirlpool baths, too. It's a gentle way to soak away tiredness and soreness. The salts are non-irritating and good for the skin. Repeat often to reduce stiffness and help soothe away stress. These salts can also be used as a plant food supplement in vegetable gardens to provide them with high magnesium and healthy green leaves.
Ingredients: Magnesium sulphate crystals.
Ease stress and relax body: Dissolve 2 cups of Epsom Salt in a standard size bathtub; soak for at least 12 minutes, three times weekly. For an extra treat, add a few drops of eucalyptus oil for a refreshing scent. At home Spa treatment: After showering, massage handfuls of Epsom Salt over wet skin to exfoliate the body. It's the same treatment many upscale spas use. Relieve pain and muscle soreness: Dissolve 4 cups of Epsom Salt in warm bath water after strenuous exertion. Repeat often to comfort muscle aches, reduce stiffness and help soothe away daily stress. Exfoliates dead skin: Mix 2 cups of Epsom Salt with 1/4 cup of petroleum jelly and a few drops of lavender essential oil. Use the mixture to gently scrub away dry skin patches. Caution: Store in a cool place and keep containers tightly closed because heat and humidity will make Epsom Salts harden and cake. Avoid displaying Epsom Salts in a sunny window. For external use only.
